Truly reverential, Mark......Miraculous moment beautifully capture, for all to be thankful for, that nature endures without our interference...lovely title, too........fv........VIVA

Thank you VIVA. I truly enjoy your comments on my work--you see beyond, even what I can see, and you lift my spirits, always!

Barn swallows are one of my favorite birds! I love this capture! L/F/shared!
Mark Alder replied:
Thanks so much Theresa--we loved watching these birds as they hatched and later flew away. One year we had four nests all at once!

Thank you very much Debby. These are actually Barn Swallows that nested on our patios when we lived in Texas. They were a lot of fun to watch grow and learn to fly.

Thank you Carol. These birds really make a mess of our patio but we really enjoy watching them grow up and fly away each year.

Thank you Tessa. The 2013 Barn Swallow season is almost over for us. This year three nests produced over 10 babies. It was really fun watching these lurked acrobatic birds fly around the yard.
Heide Stover
Wish I had taken this shot!
Mark Alder replied:
Thank you Heide. I think you gave me the highest compliment one can give. I sincerely appreciate it.
Steve Harrington
A fine, fun image, Mark! I am being entertained by a nest of young robins on my porch. :) vf
Mark Alder replied:
Thank you Steve. They sure make a mess but I really enjoy sharing my space with them.
Barbara St Jean
Fantastic capture, so adorable! F/V
Mark Alder replied:
Thank you Barbara. I appreciate the comment, the vote and the fav. This is last year's group; this year's group is just now starting to hatch.
